8-Patrol
Originally designed as a replacement for the 1996 Ford Van, the new 8-Patrol, a Ford StarCraft bus, was delivered in the late spring of 2008. As the fire company began to outgrow the old Patrol, it became obvious that with a continuously expanding number of members, a single 10-12 passenger van would not be sufficient. The solution was to spec out a larger vehicle capable of transporting more members to and from fire scenes and department functions. Complete with full lights and sirens, the bus is also fully equipped to serve as a mobile rehabilitation center for firefighters at the scene of an emergency. Heated in the winter and chilled in the summer to optimal temperatures the bus provides firefighters at the scene of a large scale incident a place where they can be evaluated by emergency medical professionals out of the elements.
8-PATROL II
