Welcome to 8-101

8-101 is the smaller of the Nanuet Fire Engine Company's firehouses.  It has a very function oriented setup, containing only the neccessary features of a substation.

Apparatus Floor:

8-101 has one large apparatus floor capable of housing 2 fire trucks.  Currently residing here are 8-1500 and the Fire Company owned 8-750 antique.  8-101's larger doors and higher ceiling make it an ideal location for the storage of apparatus and equipment.

Radio Room:

Containing the old radio equipment from 8-100, the 8-101 radio console encompases the same features as 8-100.  Here firefighters can communicate with fire control and other responding units as well as monitor the local police and EMS from a console mounted scanner.  8-101 has the provisions to activate the home alerts, however there is no audible roof mounted whistle on this firehouse.
