NANUET SENDS A PUMPER TO SCENE OF LATE NIGHT FIRE IN WEST NYACK

At 3:55am early Sunday morning, Nanuet FD was alerted to respond one pumper (8-1750) into neighboring West Nyack where the West Nyack FD (Dept 24) was operating at the scene of a structure fire. 25 minutes earlier, Clarkstown PD along with West Nyack Assistant Fire Chief Jason Papenmeyer (24-2) had confirmed the working structure fire at 8 Louise Dr, which had originally been reported as a carpet fire.
Nanuet Chief Mike Mattera (8-1) and Lieutenant Bill Schoenleber (8-5) responded along with a full crew aboard 8-1750.
The Blauvelt, Central Nyack and Orangeburg fire departments were also called to assist in extinguishing the blaze.
